First Blog Post: Self Introduction

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's learning how to dance in the rain. I'm Joana Mae B. Anthony, you can call me joana or miming. I turned 21 last August 08. I am currently studying in Valencia Colleges Inc.(BUK ). Taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies. I am a third year college student still alive and kicking. 

I am born and raised in Valencia City the City of Golden Harvest. People often described me as jovial, carefree and an optimistic kind of person ,but what people don't know is that sometimes I experience bad days and that's alright. 

We have a very simple kind of living. We are residing at Poblacion Valencia City. We are six in the family my papa is Joel U. Anthony a market laborer. He is very generous man, caring, loving and a very supportive papa, He can do all legal works just for us and to provide all of our necessity. My mama is a loving, caring, strict, and over protective mama to us. She is a beautiful house wife, for me my mama is the best. She can cook all delicious foods and preparing our foods when we went to School. We love our parents so much because according to Ephesian 6:1-3 "Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. 'Honor your father and mother.' This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, 'Things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.'" I have also three siblings we are all girls in the family, Ana Jean, a first year college student who was studying at Central Mindanao University, Miles a grade 12 , Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics student. And our younger is only four years old. We live as a simple and happy family, praising God every sunday,celebrating traditional occasion with a complete family. Even though we encounter a lot of challenges and circumstances , our parent's will remain strong just for us. Just like the quote from unknown Life doesn't Required that we be the best, only that we try our best. 

When we talk about hobbies, or talent then my hobbies are, watching Korean movies,  reading comics ,writing dairy, eating  and my most favorite one is worshipping God every sunday. When  we say talent? All I can response is I 'am a talentless person. Even though I do love singing but singing doesn't love me back same as dancing. I have no talent to be proud of. The only thing that  I can be proud of is being a good daughter. I don't play sport's, I have a bad grammar but I am a best cooker.

I've encountered a lot of challenges when I entered the field of college especially on the online classes. As a slow learner it is very hard for me to cope up with those set up. And honestly i can't even recall the lesson's for those years. And those lead me to depression and anxiety. Although there's a  lot of negative effects in my college life. But there are also a lot of positive I've encountered especially in today limited f2f class. I meet a lot of unexpected friendship just like Mia and Kristia in my first year college  journey they we're my first ever friend in my college life. College life is extremely hard that is why having  true, straight forward and a bully friend( Donavie and Wendy) is very important. Having a circle of friends that motivates you to keep going to help you and to support you no matter how hard the situation is. In my entire life I didn't expect that I could meet a person who was very kind and generous as them. When I'm with them I can feel a friend and a family in the same picture. I was very thankful to the universe that he give me the most understanding friendship of mine . 

We alway remember that we are the best author of our own life. We only live once but if you do it right once is enough. When we we're living in the world expect a lot of problem because as a human being it is our duty to faced a lot of challenges. But always remember to Keep going and be Strong.
